How do I create an account?
Open the Plingpling app and tap 'Get Started'. You can sign up with your email address or use Google, Apple, or Facebook to sign in quickly.
What are the four assistance modes?
Plingpling offers four ways to help you: Explain (simplify topics, explain Bible verses), Plan (create schedules and plans), Write (draft emails, prayers, and text), and Guidance (advice, Biblical perspective, prayer support).
How do I access daily devotionals?
Daily devotionals appear on your Home screen as a card. You can also tap on the devotional section to explore Bible verses and reflections. Make sure to select 'Faith & Bible' as one of your interest topics during onboarding.
Can I delete my chat history?
Yes. You can delete individual conversations or your entire chat history from the app's Settings. Go to Settings > Chats > Clear History.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings in the app, scroll to Account, and tap 'Delete Account'. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings > Language. Plingpling currently supports English and Hindi.
How do I customize my Home screen?
On the Home screen, tap the customize icon to add, remove, or reorder content modules such as the news feed, devotionals, and AI suggestions.
Is the app free?
Yes, Plingpling is free to download and use on both iOS and Android.
How do I turn off notifications?
Go to Settings > Notifications to manage your notification preferences. You can also set Quiet Hours (default: 9 PM – 8 AM) to pause notifications during specific times.
How do I change the theme?
Go to Settings > Display > Theme and select Light, Dark, or System (follows your device setting).
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' and enter your email address. You will receive a link to reset your password.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your conversations and personal data are kept private and never sold to third parties. Faith-related conversations receive the same privacy protections as all other data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
